Most politically-minded millennials are now in the process of graduating from college. We're charting a course in which to take our careers. Marriage and kids are on our minds; some of us have all ready taken that plunge.
The New Republic's E.J. Dionne also says more millennials are progressive than conservative. He says millennials are more liberal because we trust government more than our parents. What Dionne sees as trust for government amongst millennials is actually apathy for it.
Dionne wrongly pegs me; I'm a centrist. I wouldn't consider myself to be liberal or conservative. Dionne doesn't understand the millennial mind.
I don't think millennials like to label ourselves as being liberal or conservative. Most of us don't believe either party is completely right. Our education has given us valuable political knowledge that says both progressive and conservative views should be considered when making a political decision.
